Despite some very annoying bugs that absolutely need to be addressed, the game is both a wonderful online experience and an underrated solo adventure if you enjoy the exploration aspect of games such as No Man’s Sky.

Fallout 76 is a blast to play. It's easily my favorite Fallout title to date. Fallout 76 has it's fair share of problems but they don't make the game unplayable. Fallout 76 isn't for everyone but for those who stick with it will definitely find what it has to offer.

Fallout 76 is basically Fallout 4. That’s the reality. It shares many of the same strengths and many of the same flaws, but the addition of online play and a new map offers a fresh spin on the franchise. Players who regularly roll with a group of friends, or adore the Fallout franchise, are likely to find a place in this wasteland. We’re not sure everyone else will see the appeal, however — or if Fallout 76 will keep players coming back once the launch luster fades.

The rich wasteland map of Fallout 76 is wasted on a mess of bugs, conflicting ideas, and monotony.

Fallout 76 tried to take the series in a new direction, and while Bethesda has done great things with the franchise in the past, this ultimately feels like a misstep. Fallout has always excelled as a single player experience, so hopefully we can see a proper Fallout 5 in the near future.

Maybe they can turn this game around. Maybe they can fix the bugs, add some actual life into the world, and make it to where playing with friends is more than just a co-op buddy. They did a lot for Elder Scrolls Online, maybe they can do it here, but I’ll be the first to tell you to wait until that happens before taking these country roads home.

The most positive thing I can say about Fallout 76 is that a train wreck of this magnitude might finally yank Bethesda – a company that gets away with too much – back to reality. Maybe it’s finally time to update that engine. Maybe it’s not a good idea to slap the Fallout name onto a game that isn’t fit for release and expect it to go over well.

The world is rich and huge, challenging enemies, smart AI, and a sense of realistic survivability. The perk card system is a great twist on the previous perk system. The gun modification system has been greatly improved and is more rewarding. The CAMP feature is fun, creative, and relaxing. The story and quests are actually clever thought out and more indepth than what one would think at first look. And the community is friendly, helpfull, and overall what a good community should be like. Theres room for imporvements of course, but all games have that. If it isn't it right now, the game surely will be a huge success after a few updates. Defeiently a hit. Expand

The addition of multiplayer is very much welcome, i have had little to no issues with servers except for right when the game launched and had a 10 minute wait to get into the game. The framerates are actually good now with the launch patch. I thoroughly enjoy the lore being learned via holotapes. it reminds me of Dark souls in the sense that there aren't really other people out there. The isolation provided by no NPCs adds to the eerie feeling of the game. No friendly faces to wish you luck on your quest, no nice guy telling you exactly where to go and what to expect. There are bugs in the game but that is absolutely to be expected in an open world Bethesda game, and the differences between the beta and now are immense as far as my experience has gone. If you love open world small scale mulit-player, i highly recommend it, even if you weren't a fan of the other fallout games like myself. Expand

I wonder what is this game.
Past the bug, the unsecure uncrypted game that allow anyome to know your IP, the old engine, Old graphics, screwed mechanic (like level requirement for weapon), lacking obiuos feature for a multi (like tchat or push to talk) and the nonexisting balance (play solo you will have more loot as easely). Which in all are already intolerable for a full price game in 2018.

The game itself is . . . empty.
This is not an rpg as show the lack of npc or the (only) simple quest (go there, kill, loot, repat). You can found storie (trought note and hollodisk or terminal) but you will never be part of anything.
This is not an FPS, as bugthesda never understand how to make shooter or the ennemi IA that goes with it.
This is not a survival game as past the few first level you would have no difficulty regarding thirst or hunger.
This is not an open world PVP as the mechanics are all against pvp (no loot, duel had to be accepted, etc).
This is not a building game as the limitation won't allow you to build anything biger than a 3 stories house. and anyway you'r camp disaper when you leave server.

So what is it? It does have the game engine of FO4, it does have the colors of FO4, but it's empty. . . Nothing to do, nothing to see, no fun. Beteshda sould have remeber that FUN is part of the definition of GAME and SUCCES.

And i had to say it but the atom shop. . . buy usless emoticon, hat or pyjamas are overexpensiv (6$/€ for pyjamas. . . ), pass your way nothing to see.
At least it doesn't make microtransaction P2W or unavoidable. Which is actualy the only good point of this game.

The only good point is microtransaction. . . It say it all about how crappy this game is.

TheyBethesda is busy fixing problems that don't exist, you know, like turning an awesome open world RPG into a buggy online fps suckfest. They should've stuck with what they were good at, making fun albeit embarrassingly buggy open world RPG games. This is an absolute train wreck and they deserve every bad review they can get. Not only are they selling this for a ridiculous $60 at a time when games like RDR2, AC:O, Spiderman, Divinity OS2, Detroit BH, etc, are abounding, they have the audacity to add microtransactions. The contrast is stark and so is Bethesda's greed. It's like Jiffy Lube opening a pizza shop in their garage. No one wants that and eww! Bethesda is the only AAA studio that still manages to continually churn out game breaking bug ridden games and instead of fixing that, they chose to do this. RIP Fallout IP. Expand
