Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has proven to all players, that it doesn´t need Hollywood faces in the story to attract players, because it’s completely fine with its online entertainment. Call of Duty is definitely going to stay with us for a couple more weeks. [Issue#290]

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is really fun to play and the natural progression of the players is a fantastic motivator to keep on playing. I can really say that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 provides the best multiplayer experience in the franchise, and it’s not going to be a surprise when the next iteration is going to focus even more on this aspect.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the fifteenth iteration of a storied Call of Duty franchise, blends old and new to put itself in the upper echelon of Call of Duty games. Despite its lack of a traditional campaign, the game impresses in plenty of other aspects. The newcomer mode, Blackout, puts a fun and compelling Call of Duty spin on the battle royale genre. Multiplayer's boots find the ground again and take me all the way back to my fondest memories of the original Black Ops. Although it's not historically my favorite type of mode, Zombies really kicks it up a notch, with more maps and customization than ever before (not to mention even crazier Easter Eggs).

Black Ops 4 feels like one of the strongest Call of Duty entries to come along in years. Despite not having a solo campaign or some of the past games' more bombastic mechanics, Treyarch has proved the adage that "less is more." And this game's "less" is good enough to keep me waiting around for "more."

Absence of story campaign aside, Black Ops 4 managed to keep the traditional gameplay of the series as well as venture into the uncharted territories of Battle Royale genre – with a reasonable amount of success. [Issue#234, p.44]

The game is highly optimized for performance, with the exception of the low 20Hz tick rate.

Black Ops 4 combines all the elements of pop culture in gaming and the ease of access the franchise has always offered into one of the best Call of Duty games to come out in recent time. However, the AAA asking price for a minimized full title is slightly unnerving, as the game cannot and does not offer a full experience.

The multiplayer maps are really balancedLet me start off by saying I haven’t liked a Call of Duty since Black Ops 1. This one is fantastic. The multiplayer maps are really balanced and blackout is the best battle royale out there right now. In fact it’s the first battle royale I’ve actually enjoyed. The lack of single player was a little disappointing but you can tell the development team really made up for it by focusing on the expanded zombies mode and battle royale. Also would like to say it runs great on PC. I’m using a GTX 980 which is a couple years old and I’m getting a steady frame rate above 80 fps at all times. Would highly recommend this. Expand

possible the best cod since black ops 1 it has its downfalls as no campaign and battle royal is pubg re branded. Its basically all the bestpossible the best cod since black ops 1 it has its downfalls as no campaign and battle royal is pubg re branded. Its basically all the best maps remastered and it works good apart from the glitch where it freezes occasionally. The graphics are amazing provided you have a top end gpu. the zombies are fun as ever on the titanic or the Colosseum. this time round we can have bots in the zombie if you want a solo match with intelligent ai. think it would of benefited from a campaign instead of battle royal (pubg) which is already dying off in popularity. on the fence about useing battle net instead of steam as how do i report a game play issue Expand

Multiplayer has its moments but for the most part is just another call of duty game. Overly re-used maps. Expand

"We're not going to include a story mode and still charge you 60 dollars for the game. BTW at launch it'll be absolutely unplayable and when you do finally get in, you don't get to play with your friends."

How am I getting lag? I have gigabit fiber internet, I put myself in a DMZ, and hard lined. With all the money that people throw away to this company you would think their servers would be better.

The worst part is that the laggier you are, the more advantage you have.... so if you play on your 4g hotspot this may be JUST the game for you! Full of bugs still at end of year and, laggy servers, compilation of Black ops 1-4 with almost no new content for $60. STarted out as sad, now with all the kids exploiting and weapon imbalance it's downright frustrating and I can't sell it. Thumbs down, not recommended, and after 48 hours you won't get a refund.on PC.. total BS on top of a trash product and trash support. Expand

If you wantI don't write reviews, I didn't even have an account for this site until 2 seconds ago. I just had to warn people about this game. If you want to play a game without dropping/lagging out/having stuttering gameplay then don't buy this garbage game. Don't seem to be many updates regarding the performance issues which are all over the place if you look online.

Gameplay? sure it's fun with my buddies when we all actually get into a game and manage to play through the whole thing without getting an error. I'd say 4/5 times it happens where one of us drops. You see teams falling apart constantly from that happening.

It's black ops with a BR mode added on. No new maps, and completely broken for PC in so many ways. Don't buy it, you'll be frustrated as **** and waste $60+. Last time I get a COD game on any form of gaming platform.
