It's a run'n'gun shooter pinball game with a game show setting around a half-dozen-ish levels.
It has movement and shooting on the same left analog, which kinda sucks, especially in today's crowded arcade-shooter market. It's also a bit short, which is common for these old arcade-style games.
On the good side. It's fun to play regardless of the controls. It's also 1-3 players and there's a vertical mode, along with the other a/v options you'd expect.
On top of that, Nitro Ball is weird. Much weirder than Smash TV. Basically, add crazy Japanese mechanics & graphics to Smash and you have Nitro Ball. If you are into weird arcade games like Waku Waku 7, Gunbird, or Samurai Aces, then you'll probably enjoy Nitro Ball.… Expand
