Go Vacation is the perfect choice for those who look for a simple, immediate and varied joy. It is specially focused to multiplayer mode. It has lots of activities which despite being easy, will make us enjoy due to the tilt control and the local multiplayer option. Technically it could have been better.

There's a surprisingly vast amount of content to discover and unlock in what many may assume could have been a shallow selection. It's a refined package that, whilst still harks back to the Wii era, feels more in-line with the Nintendo Switch offering for the most part. There are some odd control decisions for solo Joy-Con users, and some odd mini-games in the pot, but Go Vacation is a solid destination to visit.

Not a bad option, but you should consider that this vacation isn't going to be the best.

As the original game for Wii (released seven years ago), Go Vacation is an interesting minigame collection to enjoy with friends or family, although there is not much improvement in Switch version and free roaming is boring.

Go Vacation tries to be a fun summer game and it certainly has some elements going for it, such as the exploration possibilities and the multiplayer options. It's also impossible for the game to hide its origins in a previous generation and after a while it becomes apparent that Go Vacation puts quantity above quality, as the experience will soon enough become less compelling than players might think.

It remains a product mainly directed towards a very young audience, which is not very familiar with our favorite medium and prefers a few matches hit and run.

Go Vacation boasts an impressive number of sporty mini-games, but sadly its focus on quantity over quality makes for an entirely forgettable experience.

The simple controls means that the need no or little supervision. In particular girls, In my experience, seem to love this game unconditionally. While many adults and most hard-core gamers will probably find this game too easy and a bit simplistic, the score of 61 is probably quite correct. But if reviewed for it core audience - children - this should be 90 at least. Buy if you have children or just want to relax. Expand

The visual improvements are nice and I like what they've done with the challenge system and the animal picture taking. My only gripe and the reason this is 9 stars is because of some of the things they've removed, such as pathfinder and other challenge achievements. Maybe they re-introduce them after a certain point, as I'm still unsure as to what you do with something in the challenge menu. A good/bad thing about the minigames is that they have changed the controls when you're using the full version, meaning a lot of games you only have to press a few buttons to play, compared to the motion on the Wii, which is still an option, but recommended only when you're playing on the TV. Whilst not for me personally this is one of the few games on the switch which had them gripped. The mini games are better than most mobile games. It is an open world full of mini games. I really can't see how this got a critic rating in the 60s whilst loads of trash indie games get 80s and 90s. Expand

A bad Wii game of 2011 (2 generations ago) for only 50 euros. Medieval control of a button and move joystick or joycon. It is easy and repetitive.
