Battle for Azeroth it's a huge and entertaining expansion, which relies on combat, PvE, PvP, and character development. However, the best is yet to come.

Even if its new loot system is a bust, Battle for Azeroth is a vibrant expansion full of wondrous new locales to explore, characters to meet, and stories to tell.

More than anything, I love the look of the new zones and the personalities of the new races. Zandalar and Kul Tiras are more fun to run and around than the Broken Isles.

Battle of Azeroth isn’t as good as Legion was. But the Horde vs Alliance conflict is stronger than ever, and being part of this big conflict is pure fun. Veterans will enjoy HL content and how the lore is constantly used.

Battle for Azeroth, despite the endless grind, has been an exciting expansion this far. However, raids and additional content are what makes the game great. Blizzard has made the entry level into the new expansion welcoming for new players and some die-hard critics have shared their concerns with the current direction Blizzard are going with making the gaming “easier.”

Ultimately Battle for Azeroth is a worthy if somewhat less ambitious successor to 2016’s Legion. the diverse new zones and more intimate storytelling alone make Battle for Azeroth an adventure worth diving into.

Unless Blizzard has some real story shake-ups and a phenomenally tuned raid on the horizon, I’m honestly expecting the sharpest player decrease to set in within the next few months. The expansion itself has some interesting ideas, but sticking to a World Quest grindfest is quickly becoming the norm, and the Island Expeditions aren’t exactly exciting.

Directly following theWhile I don't agree with some of the story choices as of late, BfA is a great addition to the WoW expansion list. Directly following the explosive conclusion to Legions End, we see the two warring factions at each others throats once again. In addition, we are seeing a trickle of new races becoming available with unlock requirements. As of patch 8.1, the grind for these races has been massively alleviated.

While I wouldn't call it the greatest expansion, its not as bad as other reviewers would have you believe. Yes end game is grindy, but its a MMO. I actually enjoyed the Azerite gear system, and with additions like heritage armor, and a steady amount of mounts being added, I am content and excited for the future of WoW.

Although the areas are beautiful, most of the changes to the game make itI have to agree with a majority of the user comments in this review. Although the areas are beautiful, most of the changes to the game make it extremely boring. I'm not a PVP'er so I could care less about battling other players, which means I have nothing but World Quests to do.

It's been 3 weeks since launch and I'm already bored to tears. I have 16 characters on my account and I can't imagine taking the time to do all of this mundane grind on each of them. I expected Legion to be a disappointment, but it was surprisingly robust. It offered class missions for each spec, custom armor, class mounts and the introduction of appearance collections. I also liked the PVP tokens you could earn doing world quests to collect the classic PVP sets. All of that is gone with this expansion.

I'm feeling that World of Warcraft should be renamed 'War of World Quests' since both factions have different, but unique sets to do. I haven't noticed them involving any Alliance vs. Horde missions, most are still against a common foe in each faction.

With any launch, you expect bugs to come up from time to time. I'm finding that a lot of the changes that were made to the game were not properly thought out or handled correctly. In Beta, people commented that the stat squish made older raids and dungeons unsoloable. It's something many did to collect the armor sets for the appearance collection. And many of the changes to the classes made them clunky and awkward, taking away from the game. None of this was fixed so now we all get to experience this frustration. They also added pets to a lot of the classic dungeons and raids, and cut back on the amount of armor dropping from mobs and bosses, so it takes even longer to collect the desired set piece. More grinding ahead for those that still care.

I've had a lot of friends already put their account on hold hoping that they can come back in 6 months or so to see improvements based on player feedback. I'm not there yet, but with each repeat World Quest, I'm getting really close.

War Mode is literally the ONLY feature of this xpac that is even remotely fun. the rep grinds are a joke. the armor sets are a joke. azerite traits are a joke. the time gated content is a joke. island expeditions are a joke. warfronts are a HUGE joke. the lack of any war, in an expansion about a war is a joke. the bugs are a joke for a game that is like 15 years old. the list just goes on guys.

This is literally the most half baked, least content, unfun expansion that blizzard has ever released for any of their games.

it only gets a 1/10 because the art for this xpac is probably the best WoW has ever seen.

The worst expansion so far and according to the recent Q&A and 8.1 PTR it's getting worse and worse.

    How are the mighty fallen.

They purposely deleted most of the questions from reddit that pointed out the problems of the game or just dodged them with answers that had nothing to with the question. So, my new rating of this expansion is 0 and nothing will change my mind. I will leave my first review below this, because those bad things are still relevant.

I give it a 2 because its still WoW, but that's the only good thing i can say about it. 90% of the "new" main content are content from Legion that became boring after Nighthold, the other 10% are the warfronts and expeditions and they were boring the first time i did them. In the end it just became a downgraded version of Legion. The new Azerite system is boring and flawed as well.

The story is bad compared to every other expansion so far, its boring. Classes are not well balanced and most of them doesn't feel good to play at all.

I might come back and change this review in the future, but for now i can only give it a 2, because there are tons of bugs, its unfinished and i can't play for more than 10 minutes without getting bored.
