There’s a huge amount of fun to be had here, but it’s not a game that will appeal to those in the market for a realistic depiction of the joys of the internal combustion engine. Realism has been traded for pure insanity, so if you prefer something more like Forza or Gran Turismo then this won’t be the game for you. If you were a fan of Rollcage, then you’ll love this.

The driving physics are unique, the track layout is mostly spectacular and together with the clever battle system this is one of the best arcade racers in recent years - despite some minor technical flaws.

GRIP: Combat Racing promises to fall into the first category, bringing justice to an old series of games that have become cult classics themselves. The graphics and physics engine aren't just there just to give the series a facelift, they take what it advertised as its strong point, speed and death-defying acrobatics, and crank them up to eleven!

If you are a Wipeout fan and not averse to a round of Mario Kart, you belong to the target group of Grip and have a lot of fun with the game. Especially the speed devil races let the adrenaline level rise, while the weapon events provide a lot of pleasure. Unfortunately the joy diminishes with time, because career structure and presentation are rather dull. The PS4 version is technically clean and therefore absolutely recommendable for fans of action racers.

When GRIP: Combat Racing works, it’s a vertiginous racer with a unique mechanic that defies gravity. However, there’s some asperities in terms of gameplay and track design that makes us not fully enjoy some of its events.

Held back by baked-in design decisions, muddy graphical effects, and non-exciting sound design, it’s doubtful that GRIP could make any significant comeback due to its flaws. With these elements in mind, GRIP: Combat Racing should take a pass from prospective purchasers.

For me, bullet force on freegames66 is one of the best game so far compared to the other online shooting game.

The soundtrack is amazing, the car designs fit the world and match the music. This is probably one of my favorite racing games of all time. Expand

Often described as 'the dark souls of racers' due to its intense difficulty, Grip is a modern re-telling of the Rollcage series. It's fast, relentlessly difficult, and a refreshing return to the arcade future racers of old. It's difficulty will make it a difficult sell for the casual crowd, but if you enjoy arcade racing, it's well worth checking out. It's also important to mention that this is a game in 2018 with a predominantly Drum & Bass soundtrack, and that's huge! Expand
