After the crystal is stolen by an invading nation, Niflheim, a global conflict ensues with all other nations wishing to gain it for themselves. Alongside the main protagonist, Noctis is joined by a military tactician Ignis Scienta, who can deftly handle a katana in battle, a melee fighter named Gladiolus Amicitia, gun-wielding Prompto Argentum, and head of the Royal Family Guards Cor Leonis. There's one other character that appears to get close with Noctis, even if her connection with him is still unknown. Her name is Stella Nox Fleuret, she seems to be strong and fight well with her rapier. Against this backdrop of a world at war, Noctis Lucis Caelum and his closest friends embark on an epic journey to try and get the crystal back. Expand

The definitive edition of Final Fantasy XV.

Considering the sometimes bipolar nature of Square Enix's PC ports, I'm impressed with how well Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition turned out. If you have a mid-to-high end PC, this is the way to experience this game, either if you're playing it for the first time or if you want to go through it a second time.

Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition is one of the best ports of a videogame to date. If you have yet to experience this landmark title then do so now.

Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition is a really good port, not only in terms of optimization and adding a bunch of options. It also takes advantage of the unique technologies of the platform in order to create the most complete edition of the game so far.

With a potent PC the visuals are nothing short of stunning. And with all the content bundled plus all the enhancements that have been introduced to the console versions since the release, this so far is the definitive version of this thoroughly entertaining roleplaying experience.

Regardless of just how many improvements and additions Final Fantasy XV will undergo in the next year or so, the game is far from perfect and hardly the entry that unifies the fanbase, be they long devoted fans or burnt out from the past entries. What the game is, however, is a flawed but still fun masterpiece that looks and plays like no other Action/RPG hybrid out there and is still worth a cursory glance, if not a full commitment.

Final Fantasy XV’s beautiful graphics and exciting fights unfortunately come with a confusing story, irritating characters, long and unnecessary cutscenes, and optimization issues.

One of the best games I've played in a long run!!! Nearly all games today are ruined by PC rubbish and Feminist **** like everything coming out of Hollywood. I rarely play any games these days cause these nothing worst than dysfunctional character base (feminine man, muscular woman). I don't know why mainstream tries to push their agency but at the end of the day, a woman warrior is a broken human being! They will never be as strong as a man hence it takes the "real" feel away from the game. Until now...

4 male characters with different personalities you can relate too. The graphics is outstanding in 4k and the game play is excellent. I'm about 5 days in and really enjoying the story line and I'm finding myself playing hooked on this game! Cindy is HOT!!!

If you want a "normal" story line with "normal" characters that haven't been PC or crapped on via Feminism propaganda, I HIGHLY recommend this game!

EverythingThis game is great on the PC: running very high settings and averaging 75+ fps in battles and higher just roaming (1080p, not UHD). Everything looks beautiful, the game performs well, and I haven't had so much fun on a FF title since FF VII. Sure, the Honest Trailers gets it spot on, but that's not a bad thing in this case.
My only gripe is with some of the control layouts they have for navigating the menus, but that can be re-assigned and anything else can get tweaked via mods. Definitely worth the wait. Those poor suckers and their consoles...

Compared to the console counterparts, especially XBOX ONE, this game looks lush and fluid and actually loads fast. It's understandable that people have the issues they have with the game, but the developers have been honest and upfront with improvements and I admire that. Maybe, FFXV isn't perfect, but if you are going to play this game this is the version to go with! Expand

I understand thatThe expansive world is nice, the story is alright, the graphics are awesome, but the combat really killed the game. I understand that transitioning from a more menu style system to action system is tough, but it is just so bad I really can't overlook it. You can actually beat the entire game by stocking up on healing items before every "boss" fight and mashing the attack button/just healing any time you go down. This kind of took out alot of the fun since there was basically no challenge, I still finished the main story, but that lack of excitement when fighting an enemy left little reason to continue playing afterwards Expand

Unfinished Story and cut off story content was later sold as DLC.
A weak RPG with a empty world and bad battle-systelm/Leveling System
